You espouse the same beliefs
As the masters that you despise
Latch on to every word
Believe all their lies

So what makes you any different?

A nation built on wrongs
A history shunned by all
Ignorance normalized
Bigotry legitimized

You curse your leaders
But fall for every lie

You wonder what went wrong
After the fall of the bloody crown
And ignore the little fact
That things were never right

Still believe the fabrications of your long dead kings
Self-serving tyrants who brought nothing but ruin
